Mini Cachapa Recipe- Holstein Housewares + JMou Sweets
JMou Sweets joins us in the Holstein Kitchen to bake up some of our favorite Latin bakery savory treats. By preparing these in the Mini Arepa Maker we were able to make bite sized delights that were perfect for entertaining!
Ingredients:
1 cup golden sweet whole kernel corn
1 tbs unsweetened butter
2 tbs white corn flour
1 tbs granulated sugar
salt to taste
white cheese (optional)
Steps:
In a food processor or mini chopper place all the ingredients in.
Then pulse them 2-3 times to mix them
Then blend the ingredients together until smooth & a thick dough is formed
With a spoon, scoop out the mix and place on the cavities.
Allow to bake for 7-10 minutes
You can serve these with cheese, sour cream or butter.
