For the Pumpkin Spice Syrup:

  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • A pinch of salt

For the Latte:

  • 1 cup milk (whole milk, 2%, or your preferred non-dairy milk)
  •  1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee
  • 2-3 tablespoons of pumpkin spice syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish (optional)


1. Make the Pumpkin Spice Syrup:

In a small saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and a pinch of salt.

Whisk everything over medium heat until well combined and heated through (do not boil).

Remove from heat and let it cool. Store any extra syrup in an airtight container in the fridge.
