Named after the game, Domino arepas are a traditional arepa recipe. You only need a handful of ingredients to make the dough and the filling. This delicious black bean and white cheese filled traditional arepa will have you in and out of the kitchen in no time.

1. Prepare Your Dough
-1 cup of corn flour
-1 cup of water
-pinch of salt
In a large mixing bowl, begin by mixing your dry ingredients together, then adding in your water.
Make sure to blend ingredients well together until you have a smooth and firm dough.
2. Roll and Bake
Take small portions of the dough, about a fist size and roll the dough into smooth balls. Then place them in the middle of your Holstein 2 in 1 Multi Maker.
Close your maker (it is normal to need to press down on the lid firmly) and allow your arepa’s to bake for seven minutes.
3. Prepare & Fill
-White shredded cheese
After the arepa’s are nice and golden brown, cut them in half leaving the tail end together. Then scrape out some of the inside dough so that you have more space for your filling. We can never have too much filling! Load in your black beans and top off with your shredded white cheese. Yes, it’s ok if it is all overflowing! We think it tastes better that way.
