Omelettes Made in Your Waffle Stick Maker

As the kids head back to school we are getting our arsenal of easy, go-to breakfast recipes ready. Chances are that the kids will be late to catch the bus 9 out of 10 times, and grabbing breakfast as they run out the house is inevitable. We want to make sure what they are grabbing will get their day started on the right foot and that they will be full of energy and ready to learn!

Using the Holstein Waffle Stick Maker to make on-the-go quick & easy omelettes is going to be a morning life-saver. We can’t believe we didn’t think of this sooner!

Watch us make ours here or scroll down for step by step instructions & the full recipe.

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 chopped peppers*
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper

*We used red, green & yellow peppers, but you can use your little one’s favorite veggies or mix it up with some ham & cheese. When we make them for ourselves we love to use spinach and goat cheese, yummy!

  • Begin by cracking you two eggs into a small bowl. Tip- you may want to use one with a spout for easy pouring.
  • Whisk your eggs using your Silicone Whisk
  • Then add in your ingredients & sprinkle with salt & pepper
  • Spray your waffle stick maker down with some cooking spray or olive oil
  • Then pour in your mixture, filling up just below the rim of the waffle stick cavities
  • Close your lid and bake for 7 minutes.

When you open your lid the eggs are going to be puffed up. Give them a second to cool down before removing them from the maker because they will start to shrink down to normal as they cool.
Remove them using you Silicone Spatula and enjoy.

Tip: You can cut the sticks out like we did using kitchen scissors if they come out all connected like ours did.

Please share with us your back to school morning breakfast savers. We love sharing ways to simplify life in the kitchen
