This Halloween impress your friends, neighbors and family with these awesome little yummy mummy cupcakes!
You can put them together in four really easy steps so there’s no reason not to make them!
Step 1: Gather Ingredients (+ Bake Cupcakes)
To make these spooky little mummy cupcakes you need just a few simple ingredients:
- Cupcake mix
- White fondant
- Eye-shaped candy
- White frosting (and/or chocolate frosting)
In case you are wondering, fondant is just a thick paste of sugar and water that can be found in pre-made strips. The fondant is what we will use as the wraps on the mummy.
Once you have your ingredients gathered, use your FUN Cupcake Maker or oven to make a batch of delicious cupcakes!
Step 2: Add Frosting to Cupcakes
After letting your cupcakes cool for a little bit, it’s time to add some frosting. You can use white, chocolate or both to decorate the tops of your cupcakes.
In the picture above you can see the eyes really pop out when they are layered on top of chocolate frosting, but the white eyes on white frosting is very spooky looking!
Step 3: Add Eyeball Candy
Next simply drop two little eyeball candies on top of the frosting. We recommend putting them near the middle of the cupcake.
Step 4: Place Strips of White Fondant on Top of Frosting
In this next step add a few strips of white fondant criss crossed all over the top of the frosting to make the mummy wraps.
Be sure to leave space for your eyeballs to peek out!
Once you’re happy with the addition of fondant stripes, you’re all done! The finished product should look something like this:
