Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients

Step one is all about the prep work. You only need to gather up a few ingredients for this simple yet delicious recipe:

  • 1 can of cherry pie filling
  • Pie dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

These ingredients will provide you with enough to make two mini Cherry Cream Pies. If you want to make more, just increase your ingredient amount.

Step 2: Roll and Cut Your Pie Dough

With your ingredients all laid out you can begin rolling out your dough and then cutting your pie circles.

If you use the FUN Pie Maker it will come with the perfect sized dough cutters. If not, you simply need one large circle for the base of your pie and one smaller circle for the top of the pie.

Step 3: Mix in Cream Cheese and Powered Sugar

Now it’s time to start mixing ingredients together.  First mix your cream cheese and one cup of powered sugar until you have a smooth mixture.

Step 4: Add Eggs and Heavy Whipping Cream

Then mix your two eggs and one cup of heavy whipping cream in with the cream cheese and powered sugar.

Step 5: Add Filling to Pie Dough

Once you have a smooth mixture, you can add the larger dough circle to the base of your mini pie maker (or pie holder) and pour in your filling mixture.

Then add in a scoop or two of cherry mixture:

And finally add the smaller dough circle on top to close up your mini Cherry Cream Pie.

Be sure to press the top closed to seal your pie up before baking.

Step 6: Bake for 7 Minutes and Enjoy!

The final step is to bake your mini Cherry Cream Pies for seven minutes and then enjoy.

Share the second mini pie with a friend if you’re feeling generous!
