Everything in one pot

With the Holstein Housewares Multipot, you can prepare a variety of recipes: pasta, rice, quinoa, soup and much more! It includes a steamer rack for even more options. Here are some tips to make your cooking experience easier!

RICE

Please refer to the cooking directions listed on the rice package for the correct amount of water and cooking time. Pour water, salt, and rice in the Multipot and stir. Turn the temperature dial to high heat. Once the water is boiling, lower the heat to low and cover with the lid. Once the rice has absorbed the water, turn the dial off and remove the lid to fluff the rice with a fork and cover again.

PASTA

Please refer to the cooking directions listed on the pasta package for the correct amount of water and cooking time. Pour water and salt in the Multipot. Turn the temperature dial to high heat. Add the pasta once the water is boiling. To prevent sticking, make sure to stir pasta during the first two minutes of cooking and add a teaspoon of oil. Once the pasta is cooked to your preference, strain pasta and serve as desired.

MASHED POTATOS

Ingredients:

  • 1 large potato (Russet or Yukon)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

1.Peel and dice the potatoes. Place the potatoes in the Multipot and fill with just enough cold water to cover by ½ an inch. Salt the water (1 tsp is recommended).

2.Turn the heat to high and bring the water to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cover with the Lid.

3.Let the potatoes simmer for about 10 minutes or until you can easily stick a fork in them.

4.Drain the potatoes in a large bowl, combine the potatoes and remaining ingredients. Mash the potatoes until the desired consistency is reached.

5.Season with salt and pepper to taste.

OATMEAL

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Optional toppings: sliced almonds, peanut butter, or fresh fruit

Instructions:

1.Combine in the Multi-Pot oats, milk, water, salt, and cinnamon. Turn the heat to high and bring the water to a boil. Reduce the heat to low.

2. Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

3. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon honey.

4. Add additional toppings and serve.
