Quick and easy has always been the way we’ve liked our desserts, and this Cinnamon Apple Empanada recipe is exactly that. With just a handful of ingredients we were able to whip up these sweet on the go delights in just 7 minutes.

1. Gather Your Ingredients
1 apple diced
1 tbs lemon juice
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
Mix your ingredients together in a large bowl and allow to marinate the apples for 10 minutes.
2. Fill Them Up
Take your pre-made pie dough and roll it out. Then cut out the empanada disks using your handy folding sheet (included with your Empanada Maker). Fill up your disks with your apple mixture and fold over!
Tip: use a fork to press down the edges.
3. Drizzle & Enjoy!
Take your caramel sauce and drizzle it over your warm empanadas. If you really love caramel, you can use it to dunk your empandas into!
Serve warm with plenty of napkins since this is a gooey treat. But don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone you licked your fingers 😉
