5 Ingredient Thanksgiving Dessert Recipes

Thanksgiving is almost here! This celebration is all about being thankful and we love to spend it with our lovedones. Also it’s a great opportunity to impress everyone with a wonderful meal and fabulous desserts. We have put together some of our favorite Thanksgiving desserts and the best part is they only take 5 ingredients!

Riesling Baked Pears

The combination of the pears with some wine and honey will make your kitchen smell amazing, and of course it will taste amazing too! Just 5 ingredients & 3 easy steps, this fall favorite will be on the table in no time.


–        4 Ripe pears, preferable Bosc.

–        2 cups of Riesling or other fruity white Wine

–        ¼ cup honey

–        4 cinnamon sticks

–        4 strips orange zest.


  1. Cut the pears in order to maintain them upright on a pie pan. Combine the wine and honey and pour over the pears. Add the rest of the ingredients around the pears.
  2. Roast the pears for 45 minutes.
  3. Take the pears and put them apart of the mixture. Pour the mixture apart and wait 6 minutes in order to boil. Then drizzle over the pears and you are ready to eat them.

No-Bake Chocolate Pumpkin Pie

Who doesn’t love chocolate & pumpkin? What a fabulous combination! This no bake pie doesn’t take much time and is very easy to make.


–        15 oz pureed pumpkin (or 1 can)

–        1 tsp pure vanilla extract

–        1-2 tsp coca powder

–        Level ¼ tsp salt

–        1 cup chocolate chips


  1. Melt the chocolate, and then throw all the ingredients in a food processor until the mixture gets smooth.
  2. Pour into a piecrust and fridge until the pie gets firm.
  3. The pie is ready.



Oreo Truffles

The little ones will love these Oreo truffles! But don’t worry, the adults will be dipping their fingers into these decadent delights too!


–        1 lb Oreo cookies

–        8 ounces of cream cheese

–        ½ tsp vanilla extract

–        1 lb milk chocolate

–        ½ lb white chocolate


  1. Grind the cookies to a fine powder. And the mix the powder with the cream cheese and vanilla
  2. Roll them into small balls and place on the refrigerator
  3. Melt the chocolate mix and dip the balls into the chocolate and place in wax paper.
  4. Melt the white chocolate and using a fork drizzle the chocolate over the balls and let cool.

Sweet potato Pie Ice Cream

Everyone will love this! The mix of vanilla, pumpkin and sweet potatoes makes this recipe perfect for the occasion.


–        4 cups vanilla low-fat ice cream

–        ½ (15-ounce) package refrigerated pie dough

–        1 ½ cups of mashed cooked sweet potatoes, cooled

–        3 tbsp brown sugar

–        ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice


  1. Cut the pie dough and bake it for 10 minutes at 450°. Then break the crust into small pieces
  2. Mash the sweet potato mixed with the sugar and spice in a bowl.
  3. Add to the sweet potato mixture the piecrust pieces and the ice. Freeze to desired consistency

Pumpkin Cheesecake Whoopie Pies

It’s incredible that with only five ingredients you can make amazing recipes. These whoopie pies are not the exception, they are so simple and so tasty that it is almost impossible to resist them.


Soft Pumpkin Cookies

–        1 box spice cake mix

–        15 oz. pumpkin puree

–        ½ C. Oil

Cheesecake Filling

–        1 pkg. Jello instant cheesecake pudding mix

–        16 oz. whipping cream


  1. Combine the cake mix, pumpkin and oil until smooth
  2. Scoop out balls and in parchment paper bake them for 14 minutes. Then let them cool
  3. For the cheesecake filing just mix the pudding mix with the whip cream until stiff
  4. Place the filling in the cookies a make little cookie sandwiches. Then let them chill until serve.
