100 Calories Chocolate Cupcake Recipe

National Cupcake Week kicks off on the 15th and since we are Cupcake Obsessed (check out our board on Pinterest) we just couldn’t wait to celebrate!

Our sweet tooth has been begging for Cupcakes all the time & our waist line has been suffering. That is why we tried out 3 new cupcake recipes which were all surprisingly just less than 100 calories.

Here is the 1st of the 3, Chocolate Cupcakes, even the kids liked them!

1. Gather your ingredients

1 cup non fat milk
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup wheat flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup apple sauce
1 tsp vanilla extract

2. Mix it all up

Mix your dry ingredients together first than add the rest. Whisk well together until your batter is smooth.

You can then pour your batter into your Batter Bottle for easy pouring. Fill your Cupcake Maker and allow them to bake for 7 minutes!

3. Serve & enjoy guilt free!

In just 7 minutes you can sink your teeth into the warm chocolate cupcake. You can also frost your cupcakes with low fat cream cheese frosting but, it will take these cupcakes just over 100 calories. Trust us; these are so good by themselves you won’t need it!
